Can we deliver items before our shoot?

Yes, you can deliver equipment or products before your shoot, just let us know in advance so we can coordinate.

Is there any props included?

Yes, we have some in-house props available for you to use for free, please inquire about specifics.

Can we hire lighting or other filming equipment?

For our Kitchen+Lighting and Kitchen+Full service w/Lux packages, we will provide all the lighting equipment you will need.

We do provide some basic equipment for customer of Kitchen Only package to use for free, like light stands, poly boards, clamps, magic arms, black flags, tapes, gels (coloured filters), sandbags, diffusing screens, bread crates…

Can we rearrange or making changes to the kitchen studio?

Yes, with prior approval, you are welcome to rearrange and make temporary changes to the kitchen studio space. We kindly ask that you respect the space and return it to its original condition before departing.

Is there free parking?

Yes, we have up to 3 free parking permits available in the business park. Additional parking can be arranged upon request.

Parking spaces in the business park are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and the parking permit doesn’t guarantee a parking space.

Is there a loading bay?

Yes, we have a large loading bay on the ground floor of our studio.

The kitchen studio is located on the first floor, all equipment and attendees will need to use the stairs, and the doors entering the kitchen studio is sized 197cm (H) by 79cm (W).

Cleaning & Rubbish

  • The studio must be left in the same clean and tidy condition as when you arrived; otherwise, a cleaning charge of £250+VAT will apply. All rubbish must be disposed of in the special bin bags we provide.

  • Please note: The sink in the kitchen studio is for photographic purposes only. If needed, please use the prep kitchen. Any rubbish that does not fit in the provided bags must be taken away by the client at the end of the shoot.

  • Additionally, no cooking oil or fat should be poured down the drain under any circumstances. Instead, place these in a sealed container and dispose of them in the general waste.

Is there any overtime charges?

  • Overtime is charged in one hour increments for any extra time outside our normal 9am-6pm working hours. We consider the studio session to have ended once the last member of the crew has left the studio and we can lock up.

    • Pre-booked overtime is £100+VAT/ hour.

    • Unarranged overtime is £150+VAT/hour.

Cancellation policy & deposits

  • If a booking is confirmed, 50% of the full booking fee must be paid prior to the shoot as a deposit.

  • Cancellation for booking durations of two days or less

    • cancellation on less than 3 working days' notice will incur a 100% fee plus all expenses;

    • cancellation on 3 to 6 working days' notice will incur a 75% fee plus all expenses;

    • and cancellation on more than 6 working days' notice will incur a 50% fee plus all expenses.

  • Cancellation for booking durations exceeding two days

    • cancellation on notice equivalent to the shoot duration or less will incur a 100% fee plus all expenses;

    • cancellation on notice more than the shoot duration but not more than twice the shoot duration will incur a 75% fee plus all expenses;

    • and cancellation on notice more than twice the shoot duration will incur a 25% fee plus all expenses.

Damage, wear & tear

In case of any damage in the studio or missing props at the end of the shoot you will be charged for it accordingly.

Can we record sound in the studio?

Yes, but please note the space is quiet but not soundproofed.

Is there any charge for larger crews?

For most projects, there is no additional charge for crews of up to 8 people (including crew, clients and talent). For larger crews of 8 or more people, there may be an additional fee to account for increased coordination.
